This is an ambient album,
Which is something that I’ve always wanted to do as a cohesive project of its own.
Ambient music has always been a huge part of what I do and love, and most of my discography features ambient music, and atmospheres heavily throughout;
but this will be the first time I am releasing an album which is strictly an ambient album without lyrics or traditional song structures.
It is based entirely around moods, environments, textures, tonal atmospheres and settings.

my goal for this project was to make a standalone album meant to stick to more organic, ambient aesthetic presented using guitars, loops, effected pianos/ vocal, room sounds and other recorded atmospheres, all recorded into or manipulated using my tascam 4 track tape machine in some way.

I’ve always been huge on labels like constellation records and am heavily influenced by artists like Godspeed, do make say think...
At the same time I love the sounds created by artists like the dead Texan, stars of the lid, bing and Ruth, Loscil, eluvium combined with more textural ambient music like jonsi and Alex riceboy sleeps (back in 2014 I spent a whole winter listening to that album basically every single night while I slept, so it’s probably embedded in my subconscious)

To me, the pieces are a sonic representation of what I was either thinking about, feeling, or a setting created through visual memory within myself during the process of recording the piece.
As a way of storytelling i suppose without the use of spoken language, just tonal and textural language.
You as a listener will hopefully be able to create your own associations to these recordings.
if I achieved what I intended, then we may be able to share that same association, or physical and emotional space through your experience of listening.

I would like to make it clear that is not intended to be my next full length LP.
That album is still being finished, and I have pushed the release until later in 2022.

It has been almost 2 years since the last time I released a body of work and it makes me feel weird to say that considering I am always making music, and take the craft very seriously, most of my time in life is spent either playing, making or thinking about music in some way.

This album is meant to be a companion for both bleak days, and hopeful days in the warmth of the sun. these tracks were recorded between 2018 and 2022, some of which were created in the winter and some of which were created in the summer.
My intention is for the overall mood of the album itself to vary in its emotional spectrum and atmosphere, but remain cohesive.
